The Poinciana Jazz Quartet has been performing around San Diego since 1999. Our specialty is traditional jazz music, ranging from swing to hard bop to ballads to latin jazz. Although we perform primarily as a quartet, we enjoy performing as a larger group as well and can customize our sound by adding different instrumentalist and vocalists. This way we can create group that is perfect for your event.

Our repertoire includes works by Miles Davis, Wes Montgomery, A.C. Jobim, Thelonious Monk, Cole Porter, Duke Ellington, John Coltrane, Freddie Hubbard, Bill Evans, Dizzy Gillespie, Charlie Parker, Billy Strayhorn, Art Blakey, Lee Morgan, Wayne Shorter and Herbie Hancock.
